I'm made to do this work - it's a mix of practical and profound.

The profound is that I teach the power of being You in your life, whether it's in your parenting, work, relationships or any other important aspect.  There is nothing more powerful than you in alignment with your essence and aliveness. 

I was born with the ability to see people at their essence level.  It's a seeing that comes from the heart, a loving gaze that takes in what is amazing.   It took me a long time to understand that's what was happening and that everyone didn't experience the world this way.  

Kids overall respond really well to this, they enjoy being in this formless place together, they are more quick to play and feel free, light and joyful.  It is an experience beyond outer world structures, that they are just learning to navigate.  It's this ability that helps kids feel calm around me and helps us do powerful work together.  

For adults, the possibility of being seen at this level is not always as welcomed. As adults we are more defended and more wary of that type of seeing.  I find again and again there is a worry that if I see them so deeply I will see something bad and it will confirm their worst fears about themselves. 

Let me be clear: this has never been the case.  I always see the incredible beauty, the goodness, the love within someone, no matter their age.  It is a beautiful experience taking in the world this way, but I find it to be quite rare.  Therefore, it forms the basis of my teachings.

This work is also intensely practical, which is why people experience such positive results. 

We work with the real situations happening in your life - where the stress is occurring and what changes can be made.  For instance, I spot where the worry stems from with a child and help you create the environment that allows them to release it and transcend it.

It is a blend of profound love mixed with highly practical application that equals overall much more of your (and your child's) true self being integrated into life, which means you all feel more peace and fulfillment. 


You can understand why when people meet me, they might be confused and have trouble placing me. I don't fit well into pre-made professional boxes. 

However, I do have professional credentials that have helped me better understand, strengthen, and apply my innate skill.

I have a Master's Degree in Education and Bachelor's in Ecology, both from the University of Michigan and several coaching certifications.  I am trained as an Energy Medicine Practitioner from the Rhys Thomas School of Energy Medicine.  I worked for 8 years as a career counselor for Rhode Island Hospital and Create Your Career Path and have 10 years of experience as an educator - environmental educator, high school science teacher and elementary paraeducator. I have been in private practice for 17 years as an educator, coach and energy practitioner.  I am also on the parenting team of 5 kids in our blended family.
